Dear Friends,

Israel Shotokan is celebrating its 40^th Anniversary and once again we are meeting in the spirit of Budo and friendship.

It is with great excitement and pleasure that we have accepted the responsibility of organizing this milestone celebration, which marks the culmination of 40 years of practice under Ohshima Sensei teaching and leadership, yet another great party for our Shotokan family.

This event takes place in Jerusalem starting August 15 and ending on the 18^th. Three thousand years after King David established the Capital of his Kingdom, two thousand years since Jesus walked its narrow passageways. It is in the Holy Sites of the Old City of Jerusalem that Judaism, Christianity and Islam come together.

We cordially welcome you and your members as an integral Shotokan International affiliate, to be a part in this Anniversary. For those who remember Jerusalem 1995 (25^th Israel Shotokan Anniversary), for those who missed Jerusalem 1995, Jerusalem 2010 is the opportunity to (re) discover and enjoy Israel Shotokan hospitality and atmosphere.
